Description

A wide mosaic of colours is increasingly being used to light buildings and other objects. Both lighting designers and the field of lighting technology are being put to the test by this boom in architectural lighting. Extremely reliable spotlights that operate over prolonged installation periods and in all kinds of weather are required here. The ZENIT® W300i provides lighting designers and architects with another version of the compact ZENIT® W300 Wash Light that's been specifically designed for permanent installations.

With 21 x 15 W RGBW LEDs in total, the ZENIT® W300i powerfully projects up to 11,000 lm precisely onto any structure, whether it's a bizarre building, rough facades or nature's diverse range of architectural creations. Lighting designers can use the sophisticated 16-bit technology for high-resolution colour mixing and dimming to create intense, uniform coloured or white patterns, bathing even the largest buildings in perfect light. The ZENIT® W300i is transformed into a versatile professional architectural lighting tool when it's combined with the built-in colour temperature correction (CTC) and LED colour correction features and selectable dimming curves, including the option to simulate a halogen lamp's dimming behaviour. Initial set-up can be easily carried out using RDM or the optionally available external display (item no.: CLZIEXDISP).

Compared to its bigger counterpart - the ZENIT® W600i (40 × 15 W; 21,000 lumens) - the ZENIT® W300i has smaller housing dimensions, making it is even more suitable for lighting objects in almost any location and from any angle. Lighting designers and technicians have nothing to worry about here: The W300i is IP67 rated and optimally protected against temporary submersion. Even harsh maritime environments are no big challenge thanks to the C5-M certified housing coating.

Maximum flexibility is ensured with the ZENIT® W300i thanks to Cameo's innovative SnapMag® technology. It makes it possible to attach the optional filter frames and their integrated precision diffusion lenses with magnets in a matter of seconds so that you can change the beam angle without any tools or having to take the spotlight apart. In addition, the SnapMag® filter frames on the ZENIT® W300i can also be screwed tight to the housing to prevent accidental removal.

More than just live events get to benefit from the quality of the ZENIT® series with the ZENIT® W300i. Architects, planners, lighting designers and rental service providers increasingly involved in architectural lighting projects can now also profit from the compact outdoor wash light's impressive light output, colour quality and reliability.

DMX512

Communication standard DMX512 was developed specially for lighting systems in 1986. Up to 32 DMX devices can be daisy-chained and controlled via a control source (e.g. a light mixer).

Environment-friendly

The high energy efficiency, the long service life of the LED lamps and the low level of heat dissipation make this device particularly environment-friendly.

LED technology

LEDs are ideal for use in lighting systems: They are bright and have a low level of heat dissipation, a long operating life and low energy consumption. Moreover, LED systems often weigh less than conventional lighting systems.

Master & slave

Master/slave operation allows identical DMX devices to be controlled by a DMX device of the same model and software standard. All the devices are connected by DMX cables in series. The master device is then set to run in standalone mode and the slave devices are set to run in slave mode.

RGB additive colour system plus white LEDs

Additional white LEDs create more contrast and clearer colour boundaries. What is more, they improve the creation of white and pastel colours.

Standalone mode

In standalone mode, the device functions are controlled via integrated programmes, so no light mixer or “master” controller is required.

Strobe

Strobes emit fast flash sequences, which makes movements appear “frozen” and creates a kind of slow-motion effect.

RDM

This device has full RDM capability. The RDM protocol supplements the DMX protocol and enables bidirectional communication via a standard DMX network. It simplifies configuration, administration and monitoring of RDM devices connected to an RDM controller.

Various dispersion angles possible

The high-frequency control of the LEDs while dimming ensures flicker-free operation, including for filming purposes.

The calibration chip ensures that the mixed colours of the lamp are reproduced identically when using several fixtures, thereby preventing any deviations in colour between the lamps.

IP67

The IP code of the protection class indicates how well the sensitive parts of a device are protected against the ingress of foreign bodies and water. This unit is fully protected against the ingress of dust and temporary immersion.
