Description

They can be found at almost every event - large or small, on live stages or corporate events, in the theatre or TV studio. LED PAR spotlights are permanent fixtures in the portfolio of every lighting designer and rental provider - and they have to meet the highest demands in terms of lighting quality, operation and flexible use.

With the second generation of the STUDIO PAR series, Cameo has revised the genre of classic LED PAR fixtures for static lighting on all levels and given the design an unmistakable facelift.

The basis of the extremely compact STUDIO PAR 6 G2 is formed by 12 x 12 W 6-in-1 RGBW LEDs with an impressive luminous flux of 4,500 lm at a 22° beam angle and uniform light distribution. The possibilities range from subtle pastel tones for atmospheric scenic support in the background to rich and brilliant colours for powerful illumination of objects and environments.

Thanks to the adjustable PWM frequency in the range from 650 Hz to 25 kHz, the STUDIO PAR 6 G2 is also suitable for flicker-free operation in theatres, TV studios, on film sets or at indoor light art festivals. Even more versatile is the use in combination with the optionally available Cameo iDMX Stick to control the STUDIO PAR 6 G2 wirelessly via W-DMX™.

For particularly flexible mounting, the STUDIO PAR 6 G2 can be optionally retrofitted with a fold-out 16 mm TV spigot based on patented SPIN16® technology.

DMX512

Communication standard DMX512 was developed specially for lighting systems in 1986. Up to 32 DMX devices can be daisy-chained and controlled via a control source (e.g. a light mixer).

Environment-friendly

The high energy efficiency, the long service life of the LED lamps and the low level of heat dissipation make this device particularly environment-friendly.

LED technology

LEDs are ideal for use in lighting systems: They are bright and have a low level of heat dissipation, a long operating life and low energy consumption. Moreover, LED systems often weigh less than conventional lighting systems.

Master & slave

Master/slave operation allows identical DMX devices to be controlled by a DMX device of the same model and software standard. All the devices are connected by DMX cables in series. The master device is then set to run in standalone mode and the slave devices are set to run in slave mode.

Music control

In music control mode, the device is controlled via the built-in microphone and can follow the rhythm of the music, for example.

Standalone mode

In standalone mode, the device functions are controlled via integrated programmes, so no light mixer or “master” controller is required.

Strobe

Strobes emit fast flash sequences, which makes movements appear “frozen” and creates a kind of slow-motion effect.

6-in-1 LED

Additional amber-coloured, white and UV LEDs expand the GB spectrum, creating more saturation and contrast as well as clearer colour boundaries. The UV-LED is a practical extra and an alternative to conventional black light.

RDM

This device has full RDM capability. The RDM protocol supplements the DMX protocol and enables bidirectional communication via a standard DMX network. It simplifies configuration, administration and monitoring of RDM devices connected to an RDM controller.

The device features wireless master/slave operation.

The high-frequency control of the LEDs while dimming ensures flicker-free operation, including for filming purposes.

DMX EZChase® is the internal delay function of the DMX control command. This enables a chase to be created with a very small number of DMX channels or even without a DMX controller entirely.
